Whitecaps FC Halifax BMO Development Academy

Led by Whitecaps FC Academy Centre Technical Director, Mike Ayyash, and supported by Soccer Nova Scotia, the Halifax BMO Development Academy is ideal for any player currently playing, or aspiring to play, at the competitive club level and in the Soccer Nova Scotia provincial program. This program is the entry level of academy training on the Whitecaps FC player pathway and is a step towards the Whitecaps FC Nova Scotia BMO Prospects program.

The Whitecaps FC Development Academy provides weekly training with Whitecaps FC coaches that is supplemental to club team training and commitments. Training sessions are conducted once per week and focus on developing individual technical habits and foundational tactical principles. The training methodology and tactical principles are based on the Whitecaps FC Game Model and the Whitecaps Way, a national curriculum for player development.
